SE Multimedia, the creators of Saltwater Experience and Into The Blue television shows, announced that they are adding a freshwater show to their repertoire named Sweetwater. Sweetwater (which is another term for freshwater) carries on SE Multimedia’s popular dual-host format, bringing young up-and-comers, Miles “Sonar” Burghoff and Joey Nania, to the role as hosts.
“Sweetwater combines youth and enthusiasm for bass fishing with the high production quality of our other shows Into the Blue and Saltwater Experience. We are extremely excited about the future of this show.” said Tom Rowland, co-host of Saltwater Experience and co-owner of SE Multimedia.
“This is a project that I am really excited about,” said Sonar. “This show has a whole new, and fresh, feel to it, which will be a great way to showcase some of the best fishing action, techniques and lakes around the country. I think Sweetwater is the show that freshwater anglers have been waiting for.”
“Sharing my passion for the sport of fishing is something I have always strived to do,” said Joey. “I’m so excited to be able to continue doing that with the incredible platform Sweetwater will provide.”
The filming and editing of Sweetwater is done exclusively by Kelektive Media, whose extensive client list includes productions inside and outside of the fishing industry. The show will be airing on NBC Sports, Sportsman Channel and Destination America beginning January 1st of 2015.
